Snow Removal Equipment Operator

Are you someone who enjoys the winter months and takes pride in contributing to the safety of your community? Join our team as a Snow Removal Machine Operator and help keep our streets and businesses safe during the snowy season!
Position Overview: We are currently seeking experienced machine operators for the upcoming snow removal season, running from November 15 to April 15.
We are seeking two different operators:
- Loader Operator (Wacker WL52 with metal pless blade)
- Skid Steer Operator (w/ HLA back drag blade)
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy machinery proficiently to remove snow from roads, driveways, and parking lots.
- Ensure precision and attention to detail in snow removal, maintaining high standards in safety and quality.
- Follow company-specific and industry best practices.
- Work on an on-call basis, 24/7, available to handle snow events during irregular and extended hours, including weekends and holidays. Ability to respond quickly to snow events
- Transportation to and from the equipment, which will be parked on-site.
- Contribute to the safety of the community by ensuring roadways and lots are cleared efficiently and safely.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in operating heavy machinery, specifically loaders and skid steers.
- Previous snow removal experience is essential.
- Experience operating a Metal Pless blade, an asset
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends, and holidays
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to working safely.
